Hi I’m Natalie Garcia (aka “Natty G”). I’ve got over 20 years of experience in small business and startup operations in multiple sectors. I’ve worked in HR, operations and administrative support roles for non-profits, for-profits, early-stage VC funded companies to more established firms. Among my colleagues I am known for my swiss army knife capabilities and my knack for “figuring it out”. I’ve built something from nothing many times over, and I’ve taken small businesses from pre-seed startup stages to late stage growth. Most importantly, I’ve seen and done a lot over the years and I believe in giving folks a hand up. It’s my mission to provide more opportunities for traditionally marginalized founders who haven’t been given the same shot at success that their straight cis white male counterparts have been given. I hope to pull back the curtain on an easy to navigate resource that answers common questions related to operating a startup or small business.
